8th Annual Lil' Calypso Art Fest Type: Music/Arts - Exhibit Date: Saturday, June 12, 2010 Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm Location: Chuck's Marina Street: 237 Marina Rd. City/Town: Dadeville, AL The Lil' Calypso Art Fest is traditionally held the second weekend after Memorial Day. There is a variety of mediums-watercolor, jewelry, mosaics, gourds, glass, pottery, photography, oil and acrylic. Attendees will find music on the deck from 12pm-4pm. 2nd Annual Bike Ride-In with the Montgomery Hog Chapter
Type: Causes - Fundraiser Date: Saturday, April 24, 2010 Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm Location: Chuck's Marina Street: 237 Marina Rd. City/Town: Dadeville, AL Chuck's Marina is hosting the Second Annual Bike-In and Car Show along with the Montgomery Hog Chapter, Sat. April 24, 2010 from 11:00 am-2:00 pm. The Hogs are sponsoring a Ride-In and Bike Show with a 50-50 drawing for Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Ride-In is from Harley Davidson in Montgomery, leaving at 9am to ride to Chuck's Marina. $15 per rider/ $5 per passenger with proceeds going to MDA. Also there will be a People's Choice Bike Show Competition with prizes for top three bikes. Some fun door prizes ...

City/Town: Dadeville, AL Montgomery and Dadeville artist Langley Tolbert ,who is an abstract painter, will introduce a series of new works, including paintings evoking the human figure and collages formed from fused clay and metal fired in her kiln. Her fused clay and metal pieces are also used in her new line of jewelry, which she calls the New Organics Collection. Each piece is one of a kind and handmade.
